Responsibilities and Duties:
At Peoples Bank, where we don’t have “Customer’s” we have Guests’ - a Personal Banker is our Guests’ first point of contact for a wide variety of opportunities. If a Guest needs to cash a check, make a deposit or withdrawal, transfer money, or even wire money abroad – whether in the lobby or at the drive thru, they would see the smiling face of a Peoples Bank Personal Banker waiting there to help them with their transaction. Some banks call the employees who do this “Tellers”. At Peoples we call them Personal Bankers because you do much much more than “just tellering”. Personal Bankers are not only responsible for accurately handling cash, but also for delivering superior financial services to business and consumer Guests. At Peoples Bank, if a Guest has a question, issue, or concern, our Personal Bankers are trained and empowered to help that Guest to the best of their ability for the convenience of the Guest.
A Personal Banker at Peoples is just that – our Guests’ PERSONAL Banker – someone special – just for that Guest – to help guide them for all their needs.
If a Guest wanted to open a new account with Peoples Bank, a more experienced Personal Banker would walk them thru a friendly, thorough, and confidential process to help determine their specific needs, and then determine the best way to put their money to work.
A Personal Banker position at Peoples Bank is a fun position in a sales environment that requires a proactive, positive person to help build the foundation of a relationship for the Guests of Peoples Bank.
