I’ve lived in Ottawa, KS most of my life with the exception of going to college and the year I took to travel, so to me Ottawa is home. I have been involved with the community ever since I can remember, my dad was the Advertising Manager of the local newspaper, back when we got a paper every day. He knew everyone and since I went with him everywhere, I knew the town as well. Growing up with a salesman/writer for a father influenced me heavily. It may surprise you that my degree is actually in counseling, but I’m here to tell you it comes in handy when you are doing mortgage banking in today’s world. I have a strong background in sales ranging from insurance to skincare. In addition to bringing a diverse sales background to the table, I hold a strong sense of community close to my heart. I have been involved in the leadership class of Franklin County, an ambassador for Franklin County, service chair for the Ottawa Rotary Club, a baseball and softball coach, USVBA coach, and board President for Ottawa Wellsville Infant Toddler program. All of these experiences uniquely molded me to be where I am today.
I look forward to working in more depth with our community, one home at a time.
