Peoples Bank Mobile Deposit allows you to deposit a check from anywhere using the Peoples Bank Mobile application on your iPhone®, iPad® or Android® device!

It’s as simple as snapping a photo, and it can save you a trip to the bank or ATM (and a little gas money, too).

To sign up, please contact your local Peoples Bank or send us a message through Peoples Online Banking.


How It Works:

  • Launch the Mobile Banking App, log in, and select “Deposits
  • Tap on the Deposit a Check button to get started.
  • Take a picture of the front and back of the check
  • Make sure you have fully endorsed the back of the check as follows:
    For Mobile Deposit Only Account Number __________ MM/DD/YY
  • Enter the amount of the check
  • Select the account where you wish to deposit your check
  • Verify your deposit information and hit Deposit

That’s it! You’ve sent your deposit through a secure connection to Peoples Bank. Upon completion you will also receive an email confirmation. You can also review your mobile deposits and see the images you’ve submitted by selecting the Review Deposits Screen.

Please note that your account will be assessed a fee of $.75 per item deposited through Mobile Deposit. After the deposit you should keep your check for a minimum of 7 days before destroying it. Deposits are subject to Peoples Bank’s standard funds availability policy. Typically, deposits will be available the following business day but are subject to extended hold times.
