What’s the advantage of having online banking and bill pay? What about security? How do I sign up?
With online banking, you can view your account activity 24/7—no more waiting in line at the bank or calling in to see if a check has cleared or to see what your balance is. No need to worry about security—all information is encrypted, and with our PassMark feature, if you use a different computer, you will be required to answer one of three security questions that you have chosen and only you know the answer to. All of this will ensure that it’s really you logging into your Peoples online banking.
What happens if I need to change passwords or I forget my password?
If you should ever choose to change your password, you may do so by logging into your online banking, and go to Preferences—from there you can change your password. You can also contact your local Peoples bank and they can assign a new temporary password to you.
